Ruby and Sam’s Sanctuary Farm Wedding in Cooperstown, NY (her family home) took place on a beautiful summer day surrounded by family, friends, and acres of sunflowers.
I had the pleasure of photographing Ruby’s sister Isis’s wedding on the same property a few years ago and fell in love with this fun, quirky, gorgeous family.
Her Mom and Dad put together every single detail right down to the hand calligraphied place cards. It’s like watching an episode of Fixer Upper; down to the last second the entire family is pitching in, hanging lighting, building the stage for the dance floor, readying the surprise fireworks with help from Jordan and her team at Christine Wheat Events. Her sister actually planted the entire sunflower aisle for Isis’s wedding.
BTW the family is now renting the property out for weddings and events.
Ruby and Sam have dated on and off since their college days and now live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with their adorable bulldog, Percy.
