Sam and Tadd’s ethereal rainy day Pioneer Farm wedding (you guys HAVE to look at this location if you like farms, rolling hills, grassy fields, and Airstreams) in the Hudson Valley made my heart melt. Not deterred by a little rain, they held the ceremony outside under a huge oak tree, their tears of joy mixing with raindrops. Serious #couplegoals.

I fell in love with Sam and Tadd as soon as I met them. When a bride doesn’t flinch at a little rain when the wedding is all about the beautiful outdoor farm location and the groom greets you with an infectious carefree smile, it’s going to be a good stress-free day. BTW the rain cleared to mist which made for some magical photography.

A true DIY’er, Sam and her Mom and Aunt made a huge greenery wreath to hand in the center of the tent, covered the tables in craft paper and supplied their planner/florist (the lovely Tatiana at Whimsy Weddings who was also in charge of the day of planning) with wholesale flowers.
