Like all great things in life, our first meeting was quite unexpected – we met at a bar called Walnut Room in Philadelphia (also the name of our signature drink at the wedding). Since we are both in the same profession (recruiting) and both ex-college athletes, we had a great deal in common and, in turn, felt like we had known each other for years. We exchanged business cards and our random meeting turned into a very planned lunch a few months later– and we haven’t looked back.
