We started planning our wedding on our first date, and I think we always knew we wanted to get married in my parents’ “backyard.” Everything about the day was a dream come true. We both had a very clear vision of the whole weekend in our minds, but it took hard work and dedication from everyone, especially from our parents and Ellie (our planner) to make it as beautiful, elegant, fun and special as it was.
