One of the many wonderful things about shooting a wedding at The Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club, other than working with the lovely Stephanie and Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs) is how beautiful it is if you have a rainy day for your beach wedding. The interior is a big open space with huge windows running the length of both sides letting the light flood in and giving the guests a view of mother nature at her finest.
Lexi and Jonah dreamt of a beach wedding but they got a hurricane instead. Lexi had the great idea to have some wedding party photos done on the beach the day before since the forecast rightfully predicted 100% chance of rain. They had hired me to photograph the rehearsal dinner at the Topping Rose in Bridgehampton so it was easy to meet an hour early at the beach in front of the BTSC and take some fun photos in their party clothes. A great idea, huh?
I highly recommend having the rehearsal dinner photographed. It gives the family a chance to get comfortable around the photographer and tells the story of your whole wedding weekend. Plus, it’s fun.
