Our “wedding” was how we envisioned the perfect celebration – no pressure, kick-ass party, breaking all the rules! I wore red because I never dreamed about a wedding – I wanted a red carpet moment. We did the ceremony the day before out in East Hampton with only those who mean the most to us, again everything was in our own way- walked into the site and the ceremony 5 min before, met the judge for the first time, signed the papers and went to celebrate with a huge dinner and LOTS of drinks at the American Hotel. No need to rehearse – we were hitched! Then Saturday was just an amazing party. All our friends and family came in and we ate great food and danced the night away. No need for tradition, we made our own.
